Devi Ever Cymru - Torn's Ænima Fuzz Guitar Pedal, handmade in the UK
Devi Ever Cymru - Torn's Ænima
The Torn's Ænima features the option of both the Torn's Peaker and Ænima fuzz circuits at the flick of a switch and an oscillation footswitch to create wild drones on the fly
The Torn’s Peaker is fuzz LOVE.. this is fuzz with ALL the flaws.. all the little grime and compression and unclean, ungodly, unholy sounds that distorted wave forms originated from!!! Sliced up speaker cones over-driven pre-amps on mixing boards of the 50s sessions recorded directly to vinyl before the days of tape and processors and protools - Where the Soda Meiser gives you a nice smooth large fuzz tone, this is it’s crunchy equivalent. As well suited for metal as it is for heavy classic rock. With it’s thick distortion and searing fuzz, this pedal should do the trick for just about any play style
Inspired by the great sludgy rock tones on the Tool record of the same name, the Ænima produces highly saturated fuzz tones. The texture control sweeps between razor sharp to claw it's way to the front of the mix at one end and thick walls of muffled fuzz at the other
The oscillation switch engages a feedback path which can be tuned using the texture knob. Available in either momentary or latching variants - choose upon ordering!
Notable Torn's Peaker users : The Black Keys, Billy Gibbons (ZZ Top), Nels Cline, The Shins, Jeff Tweedy (Wilco), Playstation Music Group at Sony, Steve Schiff (Nina Hagen Band), Stu Mackenzie/Joey Walker (King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard), Brad Laner (Medicine), Mick Thomson (Slipknot)
