Northern Stompboxes is a specialist guitar effects pedal retailer based in Leeds in the North of England. Founded in January 2017, I offer the best and most innovative effects pedals made by small, independent suppliers who are as passionate about guitar fx as I am. I can promise you I do not sell anything that I wouldn’t be 100% happy using myself and I have personally handpicked each and every pedal to appear for sale on this website. Northern Stompboxes can often be found at one of the many guitar trade shows dotted around the country. Currently, all our pedals are handcrafted in the UK.

​Making a Payment: Simply browse the store, add anything you like the look of to the basket and checkout like you would on any other shopping website. You will receive confirmation of payment right away. Payment is currently taken exclusively through PayPal. If you are making an international payment, Paypal will convert the price into your own currency. If you are still unsure, simply use one of the many currency convertors available online. I do not see any of your card or bank account details.

Delivery: Domestic shipping will be sent via Royal Mail 1st Class Signed For, international orders will be sent Royal Mail Tracked and Signed for (where possible). Items will be posted within 3 business days of receiving full payment. If, for any reason, postage does not happen within this time frame you will be informed as soon as possible.

Domestic delivery times from date of postage tend to be within 48hrs, international delivery times from date of postage tend to be 5-10 days. If you think your item has been lost in transit please let me know right away to enable me to make a prompt claim against the courier.

Delivery costs start from £2.49 for domestic shipping and increase accordingly depending if you are based in the European Union or Rest of World. You will always see shipping costs before placing your order. Northern Stompboxes cannot be held responsible for any tax or import duty charged by your country’s government, please consider this potential extra cost before placing your order.

PLEASE NOTE: Overseas import and duty charges will now be applicable to all EU countries since the UK left the EU. As it currently stands I am not able to deduct the UK VAT from any products, this is something I am looking into to allow my European friends to continue to buy awesome guitar pedals at reasonable prices

Returns: If, for whatever reason, you are dissatisfied with your purchase you can return it within 28 days and you will be entitled to a full refund, minus shipping costs. Do this by emailing Northern Stompboxes at NorthernStomps@gmail.com . Shipping costs is classed as the cost incurred to the seller to post the item, not the cost incurred to buyer when purchasing the item. It is the responsibility of you, the buyer, to organise and pay for postage of the returned item and to ensure that appropriate cover is taken out in the event of the item being lost. If the returned item is damaged in any way we reserve the right to charge a 30% re-stocking fee. Refunds will be paid within 30 days of the receipt of the item.

 

Payment will be refunded via the same method of payment.

Privacy Policy: Northern Stompboxes will never share your personal information with anyone other than relevant payment companies to enable you to make a purchase. If you sign up to the newsletter your email address will never be sold onto a 3rd party and your information will only be used to send you relevant new bulletins. After signing up, you may opt out of these at any time.
